Review:
I have tried a few different brands and grades of matcha, and I've found Hibiki-an's to be both better tasting and less expensive. The taste is smooth, and I've also noticed that it doesn't seem to clump as easily as other matcha. I generally don't sift my matcha before drinking, as I don't want to waste any, so it's nice to not end up with lumps in the bottom of the bowl. I have heard that since when drinking matcha, one is consuming the whole tea leaf, it is more important to choose organic varieties to avoid chemical residues that may be present. I thank Hibiki-an whole-heartedly for making this excellent product available to those of us in the U.S. Highly recommended!
