I am a 60 year old man who has only been drinking quality tea on a regular basis for the last few years. I decided that I preferred Chinese teas overall....until I tasted the 2009 Farmers' Shincha. This is one of the finest teas that I have ever tasted. I know that it is hard to compare apples and oranges, but the comparison here is to new 2009 Chinese West Lake teas (limited editions). The bottom line is pleasure. While they have obvious differences, the main factor is incredible, subtle flavor, and long pleasureable aftertaste. Even a few hours after drinking these teas, I have have a nice taste on my palate and a feeling of well being. They are like magic elixors. I thank Hibiki-an for allowing me to sample such a fine product here in the states.
