Review I finally tried my new tin of the 2015 Shincha Matcha and I really don't have much to say except that I STILL really love HIBIKI-AN'S Special Spring Shincha Matcha! I find HIBIKI-AN'S Matcha (Pinnacle for special treats and Super Premium for usual drinking, thin/weak or thick/strong, as well as baking and adding to ANYTHING I can think of) to be the best and my Personal favorite for "everyday use," though.

I had not used my Flat Moonflower Matcha Bowl for quite a long Time, and it has been hot for awhile so I was starting to drink less and less Matcha, which really upset me because not only do I enjoy it, I feel like it helps me to sleep better when made using a very gentle and warm temperature instead of the higher range, to bring out more calming theanine. Plus, just the act of drinking a pretty, usable form of art Matcha Bowl alone before bed of delicious Tea to be relaxing on it's own.

So, I decided to use the Flat Moonflower Bowl (especially after reading my own review about it with the Shincha, it got me excited) to enjoy a great idea of the Artists' of the past to evoke a "cool" atmosphere and to allow the Tea to not be as hot. It was a very nice burst of vibrant green powder that smelled, to me, almost like a sweet, floral powder. The scent was very pretty. Not like baby powder- I very much dislike baby powder's scent. This was an edible, sweet florally-fruity type of mix (as another reviewer stated they sensed a fruityness to this years Shincha Matcha.) The flat bowl is harder for me to get a nice froth, but even though I made it thicker, it was great! Very fresh! I love the Limited Shincha Matcha. It is a very gentle Matcha, I've never found it to be bitter, and afterwards, your bowl smells literally like Spring in bloom! This helped to lift my spirits after the loss of my years long pet recently who I was very close to and love so much, still. Thank you for always being there for me and my Health, HIBIKI-AN! I hope you have a great Summer, there, and now I can't wait for the indescribably wonderful treat of Kuradashi Matcha come Autumn!
