Ordered and received my Hohin in record time. i was hoping it would come as fast as it did, all in all it took only 3 days to get here: not a moment to soon
as a appreciator of fine china and as an artist my self ( not pottery) i know the time an effort it takes to make so many of the things we now let machines do the work for us. and this set is elegant yet simple at the same time; something not common among our manufactured goods these days.
This is a brilliantly functioning work of art, you can see the strokes used to apply the Glazes before it was baked in the kiln. All so perfect in their construction, the yuzamashi holds just the right amount of water to brew a perfect two cups for those teas you just cant justify making a Large pot of tea with, there is no doubt in my mind that this tea set will be well used by my self, and is a brilliant addition to any tea aficionado's collection of teawares (if you don't already have one)
