Review:
This is a very nice pair of yunomi. They have a nice weight and are good quality porcelain, and set off the color of tea very well. they will stain a bit over time, but nothing a gently scrub with hot water won't take care of. the delicate edge detail is very nice accent... light understated beauty.
I'm taking one star off though because the maple leaf/sakura pattern is not in fact hand painted on each pair... it looks like they are stenciled, or screened on by some technique, though truthfully you have to look VERY closely to see this. the overall effect of these cups is very beautiful though. currently my favorite pair of tea cups.
Also note, the color of these yunomi are a bit brighter than in the picture. they are in fact a very pleasant clean white color.
