I had the good fortune--courtesy of my dear friend, Amy--to compare this matcha with another Uji matcha that is considered among the best available. While both teas were sublime and although the other tea produced a slightly better froth (both had been sifted), Matcha P... (more)

Outstanding matcha! True gem! it tastes richly sweet with no bitterness. So, kids from Koyamaen and Ippodo beware, we found our treasure.... Please build your artistic, brightly green mountain in natsume and watch it disappear fast. Higly recommended.K

Literally the best matcha I have ever tasted in my life! When I was in Tokyo in August 2007, matcha was sold in some department stores for like $50 for a small container. I thought maybe it was just the packaging, but didn't think it was worth that much to try it. Since... (more)

As soon as this matcha arrived I opened the can and an unbelievable fresh smell of green tea. This tea is very bright green and has a distinct sweet and grassy taste. At first I sampled their matcha super premium and that was awesome. I didn't know that a better Matc... (more)

I must confess that I do drink a lot of tea with my friends. I have my special collected tea ware pieces and friends send me new pieces that I love to share while drinking tea. We have fun and it is always a social event at my house. But I have always kept away from ... (more)

Matcha Pinnacle is an amazingly bright fresh color of green, unlike any Matcha I've seen before. Its flavor is very mellow and balanced. On a scale of 1 to 10 - with 10 as the best - I would definitely give this tea a perfect 10.
