Absolutely delicious! This shincha does have a very mellow and sweet taste with less astringency than I am used to. The beautiful green colour is calming and makes for a fantastic tea time.

This is an excellent Shincha, very fresh with perfect balance of sweet grass and stringent undertone, very nice in the early afternoon, and nicely paired with a Japanese sweet treat, small rice cookie or sweet potato chip. Thank you Hibiki-an for another wonderful tea.

Sencha Aote is delicious. The tea is much greener than other senchas. The first brew has a saltiness / mineral quality to it. A favourite.

A very special green tea. It has a unique personality. Refreshing, slightly bitter, a little mellow taste and earthy fragrance. Light, vivid green color, a taste of bitterness that last for a while. A unique sincha personality.
