I’ve been enjoying this Hohin set for a while now. When I first got it I had to learn to use it. Hold it in one hand, press down on the lid, and pour. Pouring from a Hohin is a little tricky, since the design encourages a fast flow, so trying to pour slowly is a challen... (more)

Please be very careful with the small cups in this set. If they get wet, they become very slippery and go flying off, unexpectedly. Each set is an individual work of art.

I like this tea set very much. When you are trying to drink Gyokuro, the amount of tea and water are very important. Before, I used a glass measuring cup, but it takes twice as much tea. This set allows me to half the amount of tea. The small cups aid the slow appreciat... (more)

If Hohin means "Treasure Jar" or "Magical Jar" in Japanese then truly this is a "Treasure Set". The set is small but the perfect size for Gyokuro tea since I like small amounts to savor the delicacy. This set is simply beautiful and functio... (more)
