This Yunomi teacup is elaborate work. The purple color glaze creates a graceful atmosphere. Autumn wild flowers and plants are decorated outside the teacup, and each of them is carved by hand. Each piece is gracefully carved, and the glossy glaze is quite lovely.

MURASAKI means purple, and NO means fields in Japanese. Autumn wild flowers and plants are elaborately decorated in the autumn purple field. Purple color KOHCHI glaze, which is one of the traditional techniques, coats the exterior teacup. Glossy and light purple glaze color does not intensify the glaze itself, but evokes nobility.

Four main autumn flowers and plants, SUSUKI pampas grass, OMINAESHI valerianaceae flower, KIKYOH bellflower, and NADESHIKO dianthus, which have all been admired by tea masters for generations, are elegantly decorated outside the teacup, and each is carved by hand. All beautifully bloom around the purple field, and rustle in the autumn breeze. Each flower is elaborately scraped away, and the scraped lines create varying shades of glazing colors. The contrast between strong and light purple colors is very graceful. Very smooth and glossy surface of KOHCHI technique also adds an indescribable noble and graceful atmosphere.

Autumn flowers and plants are elaborately and gracefully designed on this teacup. Each of them is colored in dark purple, and the light purple autumn field adds to the noble atmosphere. The color is even more beautiful when paired with the color of green tea. It is a delight for the eyes and will certainly enhance your green moment. This Yunomi teacup can be used not only in the autumn season but throughout the year.
